A Yes, I do.

Q Is that something that you studied and relied
upon as a Scientologists?

A Not that particular pamphlet, no, but the
contents are used in different things. They are
presented to us in different ways. In Scientology you
could hear them as a transcript, you could hear them as a
separate issue. They take the information and pull it
apart and use it for specific things.

Q In this pamphlet I notice that you have had
time to look through it and make some highlights. Did
you notice anything that talked about the purpose of
filing suits?

Q Can you just read what you have highlighted
down here, what the purpose of suit is?

A “The purpose of a suit is to harass and to
discourage rather than to win. The law can be used very
easily to harass. And enough harassment on somebody who
is simply on the thin edge, while knowing that he is not
authorized will generally be sufficient to cause his
professional decease. If possible, of course, ruin him
utterly.”

Q Did you find that to be a little different than
