A At that point he said, “I have had it, I am
going to call the police.” He pulled out his cell phone

A He started to walk across Pierce and I
proceeded to follow him. I would say I was about five
feet behind him when he spun around and said, “Don’t you
follow me.” And he smashed the picket sign into the side
of my face, and the bulldog clip on the edge of the
picket sign caught me right over the eye.

Q When he hit you, where did you have the video
camera?

A I had the video camera up to my right eye.

Q Had you threatened him at all prior to that?

A No, sir, I didn’t.
