A I was recruited for OSA in late 1989 and I
worked as an investigations officer in OSA until I left
in 1992.
 
Q When you were a member were you actually member
down in Miami?
 
A
Yes, I was, andin California as well.

So you did some traveling for the church?
A
Yes.
Q
Was that for some training?
A
Yes, it was for upper level training as an
investigations officer.
 
Q Can just anybody become a member of OSA or do
you have to go through any particular courses?
 
A No, they recruit specific individuals for the
Office of Special Affairs, it’s not something that you
join within the organization. They have to select you
and qualify you in order to become a member of the Office
of Special Affairs.
 
Q Is it a way of working your way up the ranks?
 
A Yes, it is.
 
Q What kind of things do you learn when you
become a member of OSA?
 
A I learned that organization perceives that it
has a great number of enemies in the world. When I went
