I have not witnessed any episodes of violence, but
I have certainly witnessed pickets and people holding signs
and harassment of our staff when they’re trying to cross
the streets.

What is the harassments you have seen?
A.
Well, just having them out there with signs is
unpleasant and harassing.

Okay. So what you’re complaining about is the
exposure of the adherents of your organization to ideas and
statements that they find offensive, correct?
 
A.
Correct.

What office does Mr. Howd hold within the
Scientology organization that’s in Clearwater?
 
A.
He’s a staff member of the Church of Scientology.

Is he in a supervisory position?
A.
Not that I know of.

Does he, within the chain of command of the
Scientology organizations that are headquartered in
Clearwater, does he have the authority to dictate, for
example, your comings and goings?
