A.
There isn’t any real demotion exactly. It’s
the policy within the church that a person is not
removed from their job position except by transfer,

which is not a demotion, it’s just a transfer, or if
there is some situation where they were demoted, they
have a procedure called the Committee of Evidence which
is held to actually review the reasons why you would
demote somebody, and until that is actually held and
proceeded with, a person isn’t demoted.
